A Russian airstrike in Syria killed 20 people, including a number of children and other civilians, al-Jazeera reports.
The attack took place in the eastern city of Deir ez-Zor, which is held by government forces and under siege by ISIS.
There is no information on whether this attack has any connection with the Russian fighter jet that reportedly crashed earlier today (Monday).
