The Knesset Committee will discuss the "serious leaks of classified documents from the Foreign Affairs and Defense Committee" today.
The issue arose after former Foreign Affairs and Defense Committee head MK Tzachi Hanegbi (Likud) sent a document to Knesset Speaker Yuli Edelstein (Likud) was published. MK Hanegbi's message suggested that the Committee was "cleaning" Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu and other senior officials from their failure to deal with Hamas tunnels.
Knesset Committee chair MK Yoav Kish (Lkud) says that he decided to call a committee meeting because "We all need to be concerned over leaked documents, because this was a top secret report from the most secure committee. We must find solutions to ensure that such an incident won't occur again."
