Former Minister Gideon Sa’ar said at the start of the public committee charged with examining the future of the insurance branch that the most important task is to “Ensure honorable living following retirement.”
Sa’ar called the matter “critical for every house in Israel,” and said that pension plans are threatened in light of extended life expectancy and low interest rates.
