Authorities have uncovered the bodies of 40 dead tiger cubs in a Buddhist temple in Thailand.
The temple, located in the western town of Kanchanaburi, is a popular tourist site. It has since been closed to the public and the remaining live tigers are currently being removed.
An official from the Department of National Parks told Reuters that the dead cubs "must be of some value for the temple. But for what is beyond me."
