ICRC to cut family visits to Palestinian Arab men in Israeli jails

Family visits to Palestinian Arab men held in Israeli jails are to be reduced from two to one a month from July, the International Committee of the Red Cross confirmed Wednesday, according to AFP.

The ICRC, which has facilitated family visits to Palestinian Arab prisoners for decades, said the measure was being enforced by budget cuts and a need to make efficiency savings in the cost of busing families to and from prisons in Israel.
