Palestinian Authority Chairman Mahmoud Abbas responded to the appointment of Avigdor Liberman to Defense Minister.
During a talk with Galilee authority heads, Abbas said that he does not judge people according to which party they belong to, nor does he judge them according to their words, but rather according to their actions on behalf of peace. He added that if Liberman says he is in favor of a two-state solution, nothing will prevent the PA from holding talks with him.
