Israeli Ambassador to the UN Danny Danon said at the start of a large-scale UN conference against boycott movements that "We will fight BDS (Boycott, Divestments, Sanctions) movements on all fronts and will beat them. This is a significant threat to Israel and the Jewish nation. We cannot ignore it."
"We will not be afraid to stand before the world and say that BDS is modern anti-Semitism. The UN is opening its doors to BDS and we must respond. It is a war that we must fight and we will win."
