Russian President Vladimir Putin signed a presidential decree to return to Israel a tank from the Battle of Sultan Yacoub, during the First Lebanon War.
Prime Minister Netanyahu had raised the matter of the tank’s return during a meeting with President Putin at the Kremlin last month, following a request made by IDF Chief-of-Staff Gadi Eizenkot.
