Tens of activists affiliated with the “Jerusalem Awakening” movement blocked the Highway 1 exit from Jerusalem, in protest against the government offices’ abandonment of Jerusalem, including the transfer of Kol Israel radio station to Modiin.
Jerusalem’s deputy mayor and member of the movement was detained by the police, but was released after a few minutes. The road is open to traffic and police remain on site.
