The Trans-Samaria security checkpoint, located on Route 5, is closed to traffic in both directions, after a suspicious car drove through the checkpoint and stopped nearby.
Two suspects, seemingly Palestinian Arabs, fled the scene. One was apprehended; the second remains at large. Security forces are inspecting the vehicle.
