Chairman of the Public Petitions Committee, MK Rabbi Yisrael Eichler (United Torah Judaism), turned on Tuesday to Transport Minister Yisrael Katz and demanded that he prevent limitations on people traveling to Meron for Lag Ba’Omer.
As a result of reduced public bus fares, bus tickets to Meron for Lag Ba’Omer sold out. Eichler said that “Instead of adding private buses and planning travel routes effectively, public bus tickets are no longer available for sale. We cannot allow anyone to limit the amount of people traveling to Meron,” he said.
