The elimination in Pakistan of Taliban leader Akhtar Mansour over the weekend was the result of an imminent threat posed by Mansour towards US forces.
Pentagon Spokesperson Jeff Davis explained on Monday that Mansour posed an imminent threat to the US forces and their allies in Afghanistan.
