Opposition leader Yitzhak Herzog (Zionist Union) spoke on Monday evening at the Knesset plenum in honor of “Herzl Day.”

“In recent weeks, I have stood tall in the pace of unprecedented attacks, and violent statements unlike anything I have ever heard before,” Herzog said.

“I may have endangered my political seat and dangled it to the point that it will be hard for it to regain stability, but unlike other leaders, I did not join politics in order to pass the time.”
