The G7 (Group of 7) powers announced ahead of next week’s summit in Japan that they have agreed to adopt harsher measures against the funding of terror and violent extremism.
In a statement, the leaders said that they formulated a “plan of action,” which calls for increased exchanges of financial intelligence and coordination of economic sanctions against terror groups.
