An earthquake measuring 4.8 was felt early Monday morning in the resort city of Eilat.
Residents of cities in southern Israel reported that they felt the earthquake, but there have been no reports of injuries or damages. The epicenter of the earthquake was in the Sinai Peninsula, some 70 kilometers south of Eilat.
