The Ministry of Health has announced that a heat wave is expected to hit Israel, starting today (Friday) and lasting until next Wednesday.
According to meteorological reports, the heatwave will feature unusually warm temperatures across the country.
The Ministry is calling on the public, particularly its weaker members and those suffering from chronic illness, to avoid exposure to the sun and heat as much as possible, to abstain from unnecessary physical activity, to stay hydrated, and to remain in air conditioned environments as much as possible.
