Police rescue workers saved three hikers who lost their way in the Judean Desert last night (Thursday).
Nine youths, all about 18 years old, left the community of Ma'aleh Hever for a hike to the Dead Sea during Independence Day. They reached Ein Gedi without incident, at which point three of the group chose to return to Ma'aleh Hever. They took several bottles of drinks but became lost and needed to be rescued.
