John Lehman, a former member of the 9/11 investigatory commission, says he believes there is clear evidence showing that Saudi officials were part of the network that supported the hijackers.
The Guardian reported that Lehmen's comments came after the US government asked to declassify 28 pages of the official report.
"There was an awful lot of participation by Saudi individuals in supporting the hijackers, and some of those people worked in the Saudi government," he said, hinting that the commission was wrong to not clearly say so in its final report. "Our report should never have been read as an exoneration of Saudi Arabia."
