Yesh Atid has responded to Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu and Finance Minister Moshe Kahlon (Kulanu)'s decision to pass a two-year budget.

"The Israeli government decided today to place a bet using the Israeli citizens' money," the statement reads. "Again, political interested are defeating the good of the citizens. The experiment that's called the 'two-year budget' has already failed once and led to a large budget deficit, increase in unemployment, increased taxes and reduced funding for social purposes.

"Anyone who understands economics knows that a two-year budget is a tragedy for the Israeli market and citizens. We will fight against this decision and for the good of the public."
