Science Minister Ofir Akunis responded on Sunday to statements made last Wednesday by
Deputy IDF Chief of Staff Yair Golan.
Akunis said that Golan’s statements are “Unfortunate and are damaging Israeli hasbara (public diplomacy) throughout the world. Clarifications are not enough. He must make a clear apology and take back his frightening and unrealistic comparisons.”
