MK Haim Yellin (Yesh Atid) applauded Defense Minister Moshe Ya’alon’s decision to open Gaza’s Erez Border Crossing.
“Each day, roughly 1,000 trucks travel along Route 232, along the entire Strip, until they reach the Kerem Shalom Crossing, in order to bring merchandise to Gaza. Opening the Erez Border Crossing to merchandise transports into Gaza will not only ease the heavy traffic at Kerem Shalom Crossing, but will also significantly reduce the amount of trucks that travel along the narrow road and the dangers that exist in traveling along the road.”
