Despite opposition by the professional staff in the Finance Ministry, Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu and Finance Minister Moshe Kahlon (Kulanu) will soon agree on a two-year budget for 2017 and 2018.
Yisrael Hayom reports that the pair are expected to decide on the budget in a meeting sometime within the next two weeks. It is still not known what Kahlon will receive in exchange for his agreement.
