MK Oren Hazan (Likud) said on Sunday night that the police were to blame in large part for riots that broke out during a soccer match between Beitar Jerusalem and Bnei Sakhnin at Jerusalem's Teddy Stadium.
“The fans played no small part in the commotion, but for the first time I saw how the police fan the flames and use excessive force against the crowds. The police must do their homework to learn how to deal with such incidents,” he said.
