A car bomb exploded in the Yemen port of Aden today (Sunday), in an attempt to kill the city's security chief. Four soldiers were killed, but the target was not harmed.
Reuters reports that this is the second time this week that militants tried to assassinate Shelal Ali Shayyeh. Last Thursday, another car bomb was set off outside of his home.
The earlier attack led to renewed fighting between varied factions.
