The United States is to send 250 more military trainers to Syria, AFP reports, as President Barack Obama visited Germany as part of a European tour.
Obama "tomorrow (Monday) will announce that he has authorized up to 250 additional forces deploying to Syria," a senior administration official said, adding that the president would confirm the deployment in a speech in the northern city of Hanover.
