The Islamic Movement is accusing Israel of trying to take over the al-Aqsa Mosque during Passover.

Sheikh Kamel al-Hatib, the deputy director of the Islamic Movement in Israel, told Quds Press that "extremist Jewish groups" that "are led by Netanyahu and eight other ministers" are working to "break" into the al-Aqsa Mosque over the holiday. He added that the Israeli government and the IDF are helping the intended conquest.

The northern branch of the Islamic Movement was outlawed last November for inciting to violence and racism.
