Some 800 people visited the Temple Mount on Sunday morning, the second day of Passover and first day of the Chol Hamoed period.
Of those visitors 685 were foreign tourists, while the remainder were Israeli Jewish pilgrims who, despite severe limitations on Jewish visits to the site, gathered from across the country.
