"Junction 48", a film by Israeli filmmaker Udi Aloni which is based on the life of a Palestinian Arab rapper, on Thursday won the best foreign film award at the Tribeca Film Festival.
Aloni, who is associated with the left and is the son of former Meretz chairwoman Shulamit Aloni, two months ago spoke out against Israel and called it "fascist" at an awards ceremony in Berlin.
