President Reuven Rivlin responded on Thursday to this week’s rally at Kikar Rabin (Rabin Square) in support of Elor Azariya, the IDF soldier who shot a terrorist dead in Hevron.
Rivlin said that “Whoever thinks that the IDF and Israel’s security depend on the desires and lunacies of a single person, does not know what he is talking about. It is good that the decisions and the safety of Israel are entrusted in the hands of the IDF Chief-of-Staff and not in the hands of those who attempt to thwart his actions.”
