Turkey freezes the assets of former Yemeni President Saleh

Turkey froze on Thursday the assets of former Yemeni President Ali Abdullah Saleh, following a decision made by the UN Security Council, Reuters reports.

Investigators appointed by the UN announced to the Security Council that Saleh reportedly amassed roughly 60 billion dollars, a sum worth the value of Yemen’s gross domestic product (GOP) during Saleh’s lengthy reign.
