Representatives of the European Union in Jerusalem and in Ramallah condemned decisions made by a court in Gaza to sentence five convicts to death, calling the ruling “Cruel and inhuman.”
“The EU believes that canceling the death sentences is a move that will contribute to the development of human rights. The authorities in Gaza must avoid handing down this sentence,” a message from EU representatives read.
