The US Supreme Court has ordered that nearly $2 billion in frozen Iranian funds be given to the families of US citizens killed by Iran-backed terror attacks, Reuters reports.

The ruling, which received six votes in support and two against, found that Congress did not overstep its authority with a law declaring that the Iranian assets should be seized as part of a $2.65 billion court ruling in favor of the families. The court case concluded in 2007 and the law was passed in 2012.
