Jordan’s Prime Minister said that his country decided to stop its Temple Mount security cameras project.
The Jordanian PM said that “At first, Israel attempted to foil the project through various means, but we overcame their efforts. We were then surprised to find out the responses of some of our brothers in Palestine, who fear the project and doubt its goals. Since we respect all of the opinions of our brothers in Palestine and in Jerusalem, we found that there is no agreement regarding the project, and that it serves as a point of conflict. We therefore decided to stop the project’s implementation.”
