A spokesperson for the Jerusalem Police Department, Asi Aharoni, responded to the explosion on a Jerusalem bus.
“Large police forces are working to locate suspects and safeguard Jerusalem’s residents,” he said, and called to the public to remain alert.
According to Aharoni, it is unclear whether a terror attack took place, and that there is contradictory evidence on the blast and the circumstances surrounding it.
