The district court in Lod granted Rabbi Pinto permission to take part in his brother’s wedding, next Friday evening. In light of the wedding's late hour, Rabbi Pinto will not be able to return to the jail he is currently imprisoned in before the start of the Passover holiay.
Rabbi Pinto is serving a prison sentence following a bribery conviction.
