Opposition head Yitzhak Herzog has commented on the discovery of a new Hamas tunnel.

"In the past there were Israeli governments whose heads kept silent and hit the enemy. Over the past few years Israel has had a government that only talks, while the enemy strikes," he wrote on Twitter.

"After Protective Edge the talkers promised us there would be deterrence and quiet for many years. But it seems that Ismail Haniyeh is not afraid of Bennett and Mohammed Daf doesn't consider Netanyahu in his decisions. It's time to create a government in Israel whose heads will keep quiet and go after the enemy."
