MK Yaakov Peri (Yesh Atid) has commented on the apparent Supreme Court decision to cancel the haredi draft law, saying that the current Knesset's changes to the law removed its effect.
"The country effectively discriminates and contributes to the discrimination by letting politicians decide who is drafted, who is not and what the goals are, without any means of enforcement. Of course this isn't the Supreme Court's final ruling, but the decision's spirit certainly encourages the equal service law," he told Army Radio.
