MK Aida Touma-Suleiman (Joint List), the head of the Knesset Committee on the Status of Women, has called on the Ministerial Committee on Symbols and Ceremonies to cancel the memorial event for Tourism Minister Rehavam Ze'evi.
MK Touma-Suleiman told Kol Yisrael that someone who murdered prisoners and raped women does not deserve commemoration.
Ze'evi was assassinated by a Palestinian terrorist in 2001.
