ISIS has destroyed the ancient Iraqi city of Nineveh, Ynet reports.
Located near Mosul, Nineveh has been inhabited for the past 8,000 years. For many in the West, it is best known from the Biblical book of Jonah.
Earlier this week, ISIS destroyed the city's ancient gates.
