Attorney General Avichai Mandelblit on Sunday night called on striking prosecutors to immediately return to work.
“The prosecutors’ strike harms the work of the state prosecution and the various courts in an unwarranted way. I call upon the prosecutors to return to work without delay,” said the Attorney General.
“As I understand, it is certainly possible to provide an appropriate response to their problems and the wishes, through negotiations, while the work continues as usual,” added Mandelblit.
