Deputy Foreign Minister Tzipi Hotovely (Likud) has commented on the incitement and threats towards Defense Minister Moshe Ya'alon (Likud).

"I was shocked to see the calls to kill our Defense Minister. The public discourse has lost its way over the past few days. It's fine to criticize, it's fine to disagree, it's fine to support the soldier from Hevron, it's fine to express yourself strongly. But there are red lines that cannot be crossed," she wrote on Facebook.

Hotovely stressed that "I, too, sometimes disagree with my fellow party members and sometimes with the Defense Minister, but there is a way to handle disagreements and discourse. The Likud party's strength is in its unity. We cannot allow incitement against anyone and certainly not against our Defense Minister."
