Yesh Atid head Yair Lapid has published a response to the furor over his remarks about US presidential candidate Bernie Sanders. Sanders recently claimed that Israel killed more than 10,000 innocent Palestinians during Operation Protective Edge.
In his article, which was published in the New York Daily News, Lapid wrote that "The problem with the claim made by the senator isn't so much the factual mistake — mistakes happen — but that it reflects everything Hamas’ propaganda arm, with the support of anti-Israel BDS organizations, tried to sell to the world over the past two years."
