Tens of friends of the Shin Bet (ISA, Israel Security Agency) detainees are currently protesting outside the district courthouse in Lod, where a hearing on the detainees’ hold is taking place.
The protestors are calling for the detainees to be allowed to meet with their lawyers. They are also demanding that the detainees not be tortured during questioning.
The Honenu organization indicated that clashes are taking place between the protestors and police forces, and that one youth was arrested. The protestors are reporting police brutality on site.
