President Reuven Rivlin met with CEOs from the Collective Impact employment initiative in Nazareth today (Wednesday). The meeting focused on integrating Arab and Jewish sectors, as well as ways to encourage economic growth.
"These are far from easy days in which to bring about change, relations between Jews and Arabs have reached a new low – you are taking action despite these negative forces and I ask of you, to persevere, we must not give up, the spirit of our cooperation will prevail," he said.
The attendees were receptive to the President's ideas. As Eyal Menis, the director of Osem, stated, "We have identified great potential in the integration of employees from the Arab community into senior positions. We set for ourselves a goal of 50% improvement in the rate of recruitment in technology and computing positions."
