MK Stav Shaffir (Zionist Union) has commented on the court's decision not to grant former President Moshe Katsav parole.
"The expensive lawyers, the public relations campaign, the pressure used, and the self-appointed government defenders all didn't help - there is the law in Israel and it is the same for everyone, even the president," she said. "Today's decision gives the public confidence in the principle of equality before the law in Israel."
