Defense Minister Moshe Ya’alon met with students in the Jordan Valley who will soon join the IDF. During the meeting, Ya’alon spoke about the soldier who shot a seemingly neutralized terrorist dead in Hevron.
“It is important for us as an army to know how to win and remain human beings. If we lose our moral spine, we will lose our path. We must never act against our morals. I am very concerned by what has transpired since the event. Whoever supports this sort of a soldier does not support the law and our morals. The protests outside the courthouse are not right.”
