The Labor, Welfare and Health Committee approved on Wednesday National Insurance amendments in light of a proposed bill to grant a monthly stipend to parents of children suffering from diabetes, until the child turns 18 years old.
The monthly stipend, worth 1,095 shekels, will be granted without any link to the child’s condition or state of metabolic equilibrium, as of May 1st.
