Administrative detainee Meir Ettinger turned to Prison Services and asked to take part in his firstborn son’s Brit Mila (ritual circumcision) ceremony.
Ettinger, an extreme rightwing activist was arrested roughly seven months ago by administrative decree signed by Defense Minister Moshe Ya’alon.
The Honenu organization attorney who represents Ettinger indicated that her client “Became a father a few days ago and asked to fulfill his right to take part in his son’s Brit Mila. We were sure his request would be approved.”
