The Knesset’s Economics Committee approved on Monday a proposed bill on car services formulated by Transport Minister Yisrael Katz. The bill will be implemented if approved in second and third readings at the Knesset plenum.
Minister Katz indicated that the reform is meant to increase competition within the field of private transportation and lead to reduced prices for new and used cars, among other benefits.
