Attorney Eyal Yinon, the Knesset’s legal advisor, sent a letter to Knesset Speaker Yoel (Yuli) Edelstein, in which he indicated that a majority of 61 votes in favor of the “Suspension Bill” is preferred in order to pass the legislation.
Yinon said that if 61 MKs vote in favor of the bill in each reading, it will be more difficult to annul it in the future.
